Introduction : A3 Game Crafting Guide
Welcome to the A3 Crafting Guide!
Here, you’ll be able to find information on Crafting and Enhancing items. Before exploring the vast formulas available, you may first wish to take some time reading the below introduction on how things work.
Types of Crafting in A3
There are 2 types of item crafting in A3. Crafting of a new item or enhancing an item you currently hold. Either way, you will have to approach the Blacksmith NPC in town. There is a Blacksmith in every town. Besides the necessary materials, a minimal fee will be required for the process.
"How to do it?"
Once you have the necessary materials to craft or enhance an item, proceed to the Blacksmith NPC and do the following:
- Click on the Blacksmith NPC and select “Open NPC Window” to access the Blacksmith’s interface.
- In the interface, select the “Combination” tab on top and you’ll see this menu
- There are 3 sections to place the materials. Place the required Runes or Materials, depending on whether you’re Crafting or Enhancing an item (refer to formulas), in the appropriate section by Right-Clicking the materials in your inventory. Do this in the correct order stated in the formulas. Placing of any materials in the wrong order is considered as an invalid formula resulting in an error message.
- By Right-Clicking, the materials will be automatically placed in the correct section. ( Note that the order will still have to be correct.) Equipments however will have to be manually placed into the slots. To do this, Click-Drag and drop the item manually into the slots with reference to the following:
1) This section is for placing the basic Runes (1 to 3). Only for Enhancing.2) This section is for other Runes (4 to 10), crafting materials and others.3) This slot is for placing the target equipment to enhance. Only for Enhancing.Example: Enhancing – Upgrading an item from Grade 1 to 2Formula – Runes 1,2,3,4,5Item to Enhance – Grade 1 Pants
Required Runes and Pants to Enhance:
Placing of Runes and target Pants into the correct slots in the correct order
Click “OK” when done. If all the required materials are in and placed in the correct order, all the materials will be consumed and the resultant item (In this case a Grade 2 Pants) will be in your inventory as shown below. A fee of 10,000 WZ will be charged for the process.
In the event of wrong placement or incomplete materials, the process will fail and all materials will be returned into the character’s inventory. There will not be any WZ charges.
Note: There are some Enhancing Formulas that have a certain percentage chance of failure. In such cases, all materials will be consumed and WZ charged.
Now to start crafting, search for the formulas in this site so you know what materials you need to be keeping!
